Deana Mars Jones, 77, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the funeral home. Deana was born in Lazbuddie, Texas and grew up in Clovis, New Mexico with her four brothers. The family moved to North Texas when she was a teenager. Deana graduated from Weatherford High School. Deana met and married Walter Jones, her husband of more than 60 years. They moved to Azle in 1960 where they raised their daughter, Sherry. Deana adored her grandson, Chris, and cherished spending time with him. She loved family and enjoyed hosting events throughout her life. Although small in size, Deana had a huge heart and loved helping people. She will be remembered for her kindness and loving spirit by family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Winnie and Robert Mars and her brothers Billy, Bobby, Ted, and Wayne. Survivors: Husband, Walter Jones; daughter, Sherry Jones Marks and her husband, Andrew Marks; grandson, Chris Marks; and loving extended family and friends.
