Delores Maxine McClendon Burton, age 83, of Azle, passed away the morning of Sunday, September 26, 2021. A private family memorial and burial will be held at Ash Creek Cemetery. Delores was born in McAlister, OK, on September 23, 1938, to parents, Clyde McClendon and Pearl Maxine Wilson McClendon Tidwell. She married Louis Paul Burton in 1956, and lived in Azle, Texas. Delores was blessed with three wonderful children, Paula, Max and Tripp. Along with her love for her children, Delores deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delores is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Burton of Azle; son, Max Burton, and wife LeRae, of Azle; son, Tripp Burton of Azle; sister, Sandra McClendon of Azle; grandson, Miles Burton, and wife Lydia, of Weatherford; grandson, Ryan Luttrell of Fort Worth; granddaughter Sterling Arroyo, and husband Aaron, of Farmers Branch; and great- grandchildren, Jerri and Maven Burton of Weatherford.
