Dennis Nolan Moore, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by his children.

Memorial Service: 11:00 am, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

Nolan was born April 5, 1944 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Nolan Ivan Moore and Carrie Naomi (Kendrick) Moore. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1962.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1967-1973 and graduated from Drill Sergeant School at Fort Polk, Louisiana in 1969. Nolan was an entrepreneur and owned several small businesses.

His greatest joy in life was being a father to his four children, a grandfather to his ten grandchildren, and a great-grandfather to his four great-grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, music, and spending time with his family.

Nolan was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, John Michael Moore.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Moore of Aledo, Texas; his daughter, Jennifer Staats of Lawton, Oklahoma; his daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Ryan Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Micah Hixon; his grandsons, Noah Smith, Carson Hixon, Samuel Smith, Miles Moore, Eli Hixon, Henry Moore, and Benjamin Smith; his granddaughters, Amber and her husband, Josh Aranda, Sarah and her husband, Tanner Church, and Lily Smith; his great-grandchildren, Reece and Rebecca Church, Abbi and Sage Aranda; his brother, David Moore, and his sisters, Lindy Waller and Valerie Harrel.
