Dinah was born on December 18, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas to Claude and Billie Wilson. She was the youngest of three children. Dinah graduated from Castleberry High School in 1964 and went on to study drama at Howard Payne College (University.)

While working as a secretary at General Dynamics, Dinah met Monte Hannah, her husband of 52 years. After her years as a stay-at-home mom, Dinah worked for Castleberry ISD, with 10 of those years as the permanent substitute teacher at Castleberry High School.

Dinah was a life-long member of Trinity Baptist Church, sharing her beautiful alto singing voice for the congregation and gift of teaching in Sunday school classes over the years from 3rd grade to high school, and finally in her later years taught a ladies' class that she adored. Of all her roles in life, Dinah delighted in being called "Grammy" and spending time with her grandchildren. Her love of the Lord was evident wherever she went, with a keen sense of humor and wit, while always having a word aptly spoken for any circumstance. She was well known for the miracles the Lord had performed throughout her life while living with type 1 diabetes and served as an inspiration to many. Even in her final year, as she struggled with the effects on her body, she was still shining His light and caring for all those around her.

Dinah was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Billie (Keathley) Wilson; her sister, Malynn "Lindy" Dempsey and her brother Claude Winfred Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Monte J. Hannah, Sr; daughter, Jennifer Snyder and husband, Daniel of Willow Park; son, Mark B. Hannah and wife, Hilda of Springtown; step-daughter, Melissa Murnane and husband, Tom of Fort Worth; step-son Monte J. Hannah, II of Lake City, CO; grandchildren, Zachary Hannah, Hannah, Greta, Seth and Rafe Snyder, Connor, Brennan (Amber) and Quinn Murnane; step-grandchildren, Burton and Danaya Bark; and many beloved family and friends.
