Donald Edward Bruce, 88, was born May 2, 1937, and passed away peacefully September 14, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Graveside: Noon, Thursday, September 18, 2025, Ash Creek Cemetery.

Visitation: 9:00 – 11:00 am, Thursday, prior to graveside, Biggers Funeral Home.

Donald was very proud of his service in the Marines. He enjoyed his football and baseball games, especially the Cowboys and the Rangers. He also enjoyed drinking cold beer with his friends and shooting pool. He worked hard all his life. After his discharge from the Marines, he ran his own company framing houses. After retiring, he continued working by hauling pallets until his early 80's.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; wife, Sylvia Cornell; and 3 daughters, Patricia, Pamela, and Paula.

He is survived by his five grandchildren, Jason Tucker, Candice Tucker, Ashley Thompson, Randall Tapp and Marchiel Kelley; Great grandchildren, Juan Gomez, Ricky Ramirez and wife, Preciosa, Serenity Hernandez, Erika Tucker, Emmanuel Hernandez, Cassandra Ramirez, Aubrey Tapp, Paula Jabbar and Christian Jabbar.
