Donald F. Corkum, 77, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012. Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Highway 43 North, Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Donald was born October 14, 1934, in Queens, New York. He was an Army veteran and had a 35-year career as a maintenance manager for Pan American Airways. He retired to Battleboro, North Carolina, for 18 years, where he worked for Cummings Diesel for many years, and then retired to Fort Worth. He will be loved and missed always. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Sudie Belle Corkum. He is survived by: his Son, Stephen Corkum and wife, Kathy, of Fort Worth; daughter, Donna Romo of Sanford, North Carolina; grandchildren, Susan, Samantha, Eddie, Michael, Ramsey and Marty; and great-grandchildren, Elayna, Yessenia and Kendyll.
