Donna Wileta Hill was born in Gainesville Texas, on October 8, 1946 to the late Vaneta and Woody Hill. She was born in Gainesville because there were no hospitals in her hometown of Mariette, Oklahoma. She went to live with Jesus in her eternal home on February 2, 2024, at 2:35 A.M. Donna was known as "wife", "Mom", "MeMaw" and "Donna Lou" by all her loved ones.

Donna moved to Irving, Texas, with her family at the beginning of her sixth-grade year and completed high school at Irving High. During her time at Irving High, she played the saxophone and was a member of both the stage band and marching band

After high school, Donna went to business school, then to work as a keypunch operator for Braniff Airlines. She was also a flight attendant scheduler at Braniff for many years. Here, at Braniff, is where she met the only real love of her life, Ray Watson.

Ray and Donna were married on February 20, 1971 in Irving, Texas at Plymouth Park Baptist Church. In May, 1976, they were blessed by the arrival of their daughter, Michelle, then in June, 1978, another blessing with son, Michael.

After the closing of Braniff Airlines, Donna, Ray and the kids moved to Sanger, Texas. It was in Sanger that Donna owned and operated WW Grill with her mother and father. People came from everywhere to enjoy Donna's cooking and baking. Everything from fried catfish to coconut cream pie, WW Grill was a well-known restaurant. The kids began to ride horses and rodeo, which meant Donna then got to prepare great snacks for not only her kids but for her nephews and many others while on the road.

Ray's job then took the family to Emory, Texas, in 1988. She enjoyed life in East Texas and was always carrying their kids along with other kids to numerous school activities. Donna made sack lunches for football teams, basketball teams and cheerleaders at Rains High School. Donna had a love for the kids in Rains County; she was a mom to many. All the kids knew if they needed food, clothes washed, a place to sleep or just a friend to chat with, they would call Donna.

Donna held a couple of important jobs while in Emory but no job compared to being a mom to Michelle, Michael and all her Rains Wildcat kiddos.

In 1999, she rediscovered her savior Jesus Christ. She and Ray joined Lake Fork Baptist Church where they were baptized and became part of that church family, becoming active in the church affairs, and serving God in many ways.

Donna and Ray spent five years on the road as fulltime "RVers", making life-long friends and enjoying God's majestic creations.

After coming off the road, Donna and Ray first lived in Keller, Texas then on to Boyd, Texas where they resided for four years. They became members of Aurora Baptist Church prior to moving to Boyd.

Donna made some of her best friends at Aurora Baptist. She loved her lady's luncheons, making snacks for kids during Vacation Bible School, Bible studies and gatherings for game days.

Outside of being a Christian, the thing she was most proud of was her children and the adults they had become. Family has always been most important to both Donna and Ray.

Survivors: Donna is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Ray Watson; her daughter, Michelle Armbruster, and husband Jason of Boyd; her son, Michael Watson, and wife Robin of Krum, Texas; grandkids, Makenzie Watson, Zachary Armbruster, Rhalyn Watson, Landon Armbruster, Caleb Vaughan, Marvin Watson, and Lexi Watson; and her great-grandchildren, Miyah and Bentley. She is also survived by her sister, Christa Shults of Roanoke, Texas.
