Doris Jean Nelon went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 02, 2018. Funeral: A memorial service will be held in her honor at 1 p.m. Friday, January 5, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. She was born on November 6, 1931 in Fort Worth, and was a longtime resident of Arlington. Her greatest and most precious accomplishments are her three children to whom she was a devoted and loving mother. She loved her family and her Lord with a passionate servant's heart. She was precious to her family. Survivors: Daughter, Dr. Deborah Ford; sons, Dr. Craig Nelon and wife, Annette and Blake Nelon and wife, Carmen; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Pete Blessing and James Blessing.
