Dorothy "Dottie" Irene Brake Hathaway, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be home with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2016. A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 8, at Biggers Funeral Home. Dottie was born July 26, 1935, in San Antonio. She married the love of her life, Albert "Al" Hearne Hathaway on February 3, 1961. The most important thing in Dotties life was her family. "Mother, you are loved and cherished and will be deeply missed." Dottie is survived by her husband, Al Hathaway; daughters, Sherri, Marianne, Tricia, Karen and Shauna; sons, Hearne, Paul and Rick; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a very special person, Velia.
