Dr. David Michael Carothers, age 64, passed from this life on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.

David was born January 28, 1960 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Lake Worth High School and went on the get his PhD in Theology. He was an ordained Presbyterian Minister. David also was a regional manager at Acme Brick, a 32nd degree Mason, as well as a fitter and dispenser for hearing aids at Jones Hearing.

His favorite hymn was "Be Thou My Vision". David loved his wife and kids and he greatest desire was to see that NONE of his family died without knowing Jesus as their savior. During his last few months, when ever he met someone or saw someone he would always ask "have you been saved"?

He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He was a man of his word, loved his God, family and country.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kimes Carothers; son, Ethan; daughter, Katie; sister, Janan Carothers and grandson, Benjamin.
