Dianne A. Seltzer, age 81, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025.

Celebration of Her Life: 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2025, at The Tradition Senior Community, 5755 Clear Fork Main Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76109.

Memorial contributions may be made to any organization focused on literacy for children or adults.

Dr. Seltzer was born March 22, 1944, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to Norman and Hildegarde Schorer. While attending the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point, she met and married Ronald Seltzer. She received four degrees from Indiana University - Bachelor's, Master's, Specialist's and Doctorate in Education. She spent her entire career in education. She taught in elementary school, high school, and universities and was an educational Senior Research Associate and Professional Development Specialist for Research and Training Associates for over 25 years. She loved working to improve literacy skills with teachers and children. She received the Outstanding Educator award at Alabama A&M University. The three-year program improvement initiative contract from the U.S. Department of Education that she designed and conducted for the state of Iowa was named the best program that recognized and addressed the complexity of school change and the professional needs and capabilities of education.

Her family, daughter, Carrie Fisk, son-in-law, Jason Fisk and her two grandchildren, Amanda Dianne and Ryan Harrison, were the highlights of her life. She enjoyed traveling and volunteering with Johnson County Young Matrons where she was President and Philanthropy Vice-President. The yellow rose represents her service to this philanthropy organization.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ronald Seltzer and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Marie Fisk and husband, Jason; her two grandchildren, Amanda Dianne Fisk and Ryan Harrison Fisk; sister, Darlene Schultz and husband, George.
