Eddie Lee McKee, 74, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at his home. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Azle. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Eddie was born in Spur on July 23, 1938. He retired after 32 years from Bell Helicopter in 1998 to enjoy his music, and being a true cowboy. He formed the Bell Ranger Riding Club, serving as their president for five years. Survivors include his loving wife, Georgianna; children, Steve McKee, James McKee and wife, Sandy, Lori, Brad and Steve Punt; siblings, Dolores McMurry, Don McKee and Velladean Loesch; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
