Edie Ann (Green) Wallace, age 60, passed from this life on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Wake Village, Texas.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025, Greenwood Memorial Park.

Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Biggers Funeral Home.

Born on March 15, 1965, in Irving, Texas, Edie was the beloved daughter of Eddie Green and Ann Bearden. She grew up with a love for learning and graduated from Azle High School in 1984.

Edie's life was marked by kindness, warmth, and a gentle spirit. She found joy in simple pleasures—reading books, watching old movies, and working crossword puzzles and word finds. Her compassion extended beyond her family and friends to those she cared for while working at a nursing home, where she was cherished by residents and colleagues alike.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Shearn Himes.

Edie is survived by her husband, Jerry Wallace; her mother, Anne Himes; her father and stepmother, Eddie and Anne Green; her sisters, Patti Dumas and Laurel Patterson; and her nieces and nephews, Michael, Reganne, Kaitlyn, Mathew, Nathan, and Landon.

Edie's life was a testament to love, devotion, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her laughter, her gentle heart, and the way she made those around her feel valued and cared for.
