Elaine Burgess Davis, 55, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Outreach of Love, 3591 E. Highway 199 between Azle and Springtown. Committal will be at 12:30 p.m. in Whitt Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to One Hope, 600 S.W. Third St., Pompano Beach, Fla. 33060. She was a tremendous wife, a phenomenal mother and a loving grandmother. Though a quadriplegic for 30 years, Elaine was well-travelled, loved by and touched the lives of many people with her positive attitude. Church was a big part of her life; Elaine was there every time she could be there and enjoyed praising the Lord with her beautiful voice. She was a light of joy to everyone around her and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Elaine is survived by her husband, Jack Davis; daughter, Rochelle Davis; grandsons, Gabriel and Hayden Davis; father and stepmother, Jack and Shirley Burgess; brother and sister-in-law, Duane Burgess and Charice Mink; 19 nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives.
