Graveside Service: 1:00 PM, August 19, 2022, Annis Chapel Cemetery, north of Springtown, Texas. Elaine was born July 8, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas to Horace Dowden Brown and Evelyn Frances Stone Brown. Elaine loved to shop and go shopping with family. She worked in the childcare industry for over 40 years, and even in retirement, she continued to look after the little ones. She had cats and loved all animals. She traveled and loved going on vacations and spending time with family. She was a great history buff and always played travel trivia. She was preceded in death by her father Dowden Brown, her mother Evelyn Russell, her stepfather Charles Russell, and sister Sharon Brown. Elaine is survived by her daughter Keri and Jim Horton, her son Brad and Donna Jensen, her grandchildren Barrett Horton, Tad Jensen, Brett Jensen, and Kelsey Horton, her great grandchildren Kaitlyn Horton, Blayden Horton, and Levi Jensen, her brother Butch Brown, and sister Jennifer Brown. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
