Elaine Earhart Norton, 93, passed into the loving arms of Jesus, at home with her family, on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, at the First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She loved the Lord, her God, with all her heart and was always ready to share the Good News. Special thanks to Harbor Hospice staff for their loving care for the past two years. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Sand. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe Norton; son, Joe Norton II; daughter, Martha N. Wood; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
