Elizabeth Frances McMillan was called home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 05, 2021, at the age of 72. She was born on December 31, 1948, in Houston, TX. She grew up in Louisiana and met Donald J. McMillan Jr. in Corpus Christi, TX after he'd experienced combat action in Vietnam during the war as a Marine Corps tanker in 1968; they married soon after in 1969. They were lovingly married 49 years while raising their three sons in Texas. She loved to cook Syrian food for her family, and was a skilled seamstress, and enjoyed crocheting and buying gifts for family and friends. Elizabeth will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. McMillan Jr., her father Abraham Chafie Karam, her mother Helen (Angelo) Karam, and her sister Charlotte Karam. She is survived by her sons: Steven McMillan, Aaron McMillan, and Bryan McMillan; her grandchildren: Elizabeth S. McMillan, Baron McMillan, and Nolan McMillan; also her brothers Robert M. Azar, Bill Karam, and sister Barbara Karam.
