A Celebration of Life was held at 10:00 am, Monday, October 4, 2021, at Bethesda Community Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
A Private Family Committal will be Thursday at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Forth Worth, Texas
Ellen was born on August 17, 1965, in Lynwood, California to Wesley Clay Hankins and Wanda Lois Hankins.
Ellen was a homemaker, and she also found joy in other jobs throughout her life, such as her time keeping babies at a Mother's Day Out program and her time as a Librarian Assistant.
She had a gift for drawing, and she knew how to touch people's hearts with her beautiful handmade cards and drawings. Reading was an activity she enjoyed very much, and she was always excited to read a new Christian fiction novel.
Ellen loved the Lord, and her kind, gentle spirit, encouraging words, and beautiful smile will be missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wesley Clay Hankins and her brother, Phillip Hankins.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Edward Hooper of Hurst, Texas; her only daughter and best friend, Donelle Kay Hooper of Hurst, Texas; and her mother, Wanda Lois Hankins of Bell Gardens, California.
