Obituary

Emma Francis Campbell Sisk was born May 18, 1922.   She took the Glory Train home to Heaven on December 7, 2023 at 7:15 am, at the age of 101 & ½.   She went in her sleep.  Her enjoyments in life were her grandchildren, painting and music.   She played both violin and organ.   She had a strong faith in our Lord Jesus and He honored her a with a long life.  She loved church and praising her lord, she spoke in tongues.  She and her sister Joy Campbell Filden showed us how to honor our elders by the way they took care of their parents who lived in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Emma married Charles Wilber Miller in 1938.  They had three boys, Charles Craig Miller, James Franklin Miller, Ernest Harrison Miller, all whom were raised mostly in White Settlement, Texas.   Emma worked at General Dynamics, Fort Worth plant after WW II until she retired.  She met William Faris "Curly" Sisk there and they married September 7, 1968 and were together until his death December 11, 2009.  They loved living in the country and had a home in Navarro Mills, Corsicana, then lastly in Reno Texas, where from 2016 until her passing was cared for by Ernest and Denise Miller.

Emma was preceded in death by brother, George Campbell; sister, Joy Campbell Fielden and husband, Les Fielden; her son, Craig Miller and wife, Pat; Emma's husband, William Farris Sisk; and his children, Jody Ashcraft, Danny Sisk and Johnny Sisk's son, Joseph.

Surviving family members are brothers, Douglas Campbell age 99, Bill Campbell age 96; James and Maria Miller and his son, Jason Miller; Ernest and Denise Miller with their families: Leona Peral Miller and Miles Straton, Regan Dielle Miller and Timothy Harley St. Onge; Kimberly Sue Miller Terrell and husband, Matthew Emerson Terrell and their children, Kylie Skye Rose, Elora Jayne Terrell, and Courtny Marie Terrell; Emily Ann Miller Burris and husband, Dustin Dean Burris and their children, Constance Peral Ortega, sons, Jacob and Gavin Burris; From Farris Sisk's side of family: Bill and Suzi Sisk, Tony Huff, Paul and Roxanne Sellers, Johnny Sisk, Sylvia Johnson, and Michael Ashcraft and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Emma had four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren from the Miller clan.

She will be greatly missed by all of us!
