Emmit was known to his friends and family as Bubba. He was a friend to everyone he met. His favorite people in the world called him Peepaw. He loved spending time with his grandbabies, was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved being outdoors. You could find him on the front porch playing with his dogs, riding on the gator with his grandbabies, fishing with Shane, coon hunting with Bobby or pestering his wife Pam.

Bubba was greeted in Heaven on Sunday, June 4th by his beautiful daughter Brandi Diane Dickey.

Bubba is survived by his wife, Pam Dickey; son, Shane Dickey and wife, Dochea; son, Chad Geeslin and wife, April; daughter, Sloan Crow and husband, Justin; brother, David Dickey and wife, Misty; grandchildren, Laney, Gracie, Zach, Addy, Emma, Elle and Gatlin; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
