Ernest J. Esst Jr., 83, a retired electronics engineer, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Veal Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Ernest was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Tulsa, Okla., to Ernest J. Sr. and Lena Esst. He had been an area resident for over 6o years and retired from Bell Helicopter. He was a man who pursued many interests, including working with computers, photography, needlepoint, welding and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Wynell Esst of Richland Hills; son, John Esst of Rossville, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
