Flecia Buntyn Summerhill, 73, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1501 Jim Wright Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76108. Flecia was born to Roy and R Belle Dockery Buntyn on August 9, 1940, in Ding Dong, Bell County. She graduated from Brewer High School and attended Texas Christian University. On December 20, 1957, Flecia married Charles L. Summerhill in Fort Worth. They lived in Corpus Christi, the Panama Canal Zone, Pennsylvania, Virginia, the Rio Grande Valley and LaGrange before returning to Fort Worth in 2007 after retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Mitchell Roy Summerhill. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Summerhill; daughter, Scharlynne Meisinger and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Ashley, Cody and Casey; sister, Sandy Rankin; brother-in-law, Don Summerhill and wife, Jeannie; and sister-in-law, Margie Dobbins and husband, Dennis.
