Frankie Joe Losoya passed from this life peacefully, Friday, September 24, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. Visitation: 6:30-8 PM, Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Biggers Funeral 6100 Azle Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76135. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM during visitation. Service: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5953 Bowman Roberts Road, Fort Worth, TX 76179 Burial: 3 PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220 Frankie Joe Losoya was born September 12, 1950, in San Angelo, Texas to Louis and Katherine Losoya. Two years later, the family moved to Dallas, TX where Frankie Joe would graduate from Sunset High School in Oak Cliff, and attended Dallas College Mountain View Campus. One of his greatest loves was working as a firefighter for the City of Dallas from 1974 - 2014. After forty years, he retired as a Driver Engineer with his last position being Chief's Driver at Station 47. He was a proud member of the Dallas Firefighter Association, the National Firefighter Association, and a founding member of the Dallas Hispanic Firefighters Association. After retirement, he became a member of the Dallas Retired Hispanic Firefighter Association and the Honor Guard. Frankie cherished his time through his travels with his wife and friends, watching countless Longhorn sports, amusing his daughter, playing golf with his son, being active with the church and Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of eight years, Janis Losoya of Fort Worth; son, Frankie Joe Losoya, Jr. of Grand Prairie; daughter, Katherine Pilar Losoya of Saginaw; brother, Louis Losoya, Jr. and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls; sister, Yolanda (Bebee) Smith and husband, Wayne of Arlington, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and eternal friends. Frankie Joe Losoya was preceded in death by parents Louis and Katherine Losoya, and brother Pete Michael Losoya. We will greatly miss his signature dance moves and quirky catchphrases. He will forever remain in our hearts as that crazy Frankie Joe, Frank, Dad, Pops, husband, neighbor, brother, friend, and Chacho.
