Obituary

Gary Gardner Cooper was welcomed home on February 20, 2021 Gary was the second child born to Gordon and Venus Cooper, September 17, 1944 in Nocona, Texas. He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and was an avid basketball player and a motorcycle enthusiast. Gary loved his family and childhood growing up with his two sisters, Latrell and Veeda. He spent his early years building classic motorcycles, such as his Triumph and his BSA. Gary had a lifelong career at Bell Helicopter until retiring in 2003. During his time at Bell Helicopter, he met the woman who would become his wife, Linda. They married on September 26, 1974 and with that he became a loving husband and devoted dad to four children; Lisa, Malinda, Shannon and Kannon. In 1978, while vacationing with his family, he met the true love of his life, Jesus Christ. He raised his family to firmly believe in unconditional love, faith and to always seek guidance from the lord. Gary is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Cooper, his parents and his sister, Latrell. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Veeda and Charles Smith; his four children, Lisa Delrie and husband Mike, Malinda Pace, Shannon Brady, Kannon Mangrum and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Austin Delrie and wife, Angie, Ryann Duff and husband, Kirk, Layne Cole and husband, Blake, Michael Guidry and wife Kaitlin, Paige Pace and Marshall Mangrum. As well as, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He truly touched many lives.
