Gary Dean Lee, age 60, passed from this life Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in Azle, Texas. He was a dedicated family man, a true outdoorsman, and a remarkably hard worker.

Gary was born January 13, 1966, to the late Gary Gean Lee and Shirley Scarborough. He grew up with a strong work ethic that defined his entire life. A longtime resident of Azle.

Gary was happiest when he was outdoors or working with his hands. He was an avid hunter and loved spending quiet days fishing. When he wasn't in nature, he could usually be found under the hood of a car, putting his skills and passion for mechanics to work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary Gean Lee and Shirley Scarborough, and his brother, Michael Scott Lee.

Gary leaves behind a loving family who will miss his strength, his dedication, and his steady presence. He is survived by his stepdad, Fred Scarborough; his son, Michael Lee, and wife, Jill; grandsons, Kyle Lee, David Lee, Mason Lee, Devyn Brooks, and Ethan Navey; granddaughters, Elizabeth Hansen and Taylor Brooks; and nephew, Chris Lee.
