Gary Lyn Place, age 79, of Fort Worth passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2024, Biggers Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: following service at 12:15 PM,  Saginaw Cemetery.

Visitation: prior to the service

Gary was born November 8, 1944, in Dallas, Texas to August and Helen Place. Gary's adventures included playing football at Texas Tech, and racing Formula 4 cars. He worked in Ski Patrol in Ruidoso NM, his favorite place on earth. He also worked his 240-acre ranch, raising horses and cattle. He was an advanced scuba diver, and he traveled the world. Gary was a big dog lover.

Gary is survived by his wife, Darla Place; his children, Gary Place and wife, Amanda, Michelle Place-Jarrett and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Karley Lemons and husband, Mark, Tanner Jarrett, Tyler Jarrett, Morgan Place, Sophia Place, Kaden Place, Payton Place, and Madison Place; and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Lillian Michelle Lemons.
