Geneva Pruitt, 94, made the wonderful cross into Heaven, Monday, March 7, 2022. Service: 11 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 at Ash Creek Baptist Church Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery Visitation: 10 a.m., Friday prior to the Service She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Geneva was born May 1, 1927 in Big Spring, Texas to Roy and Hattie Lee Curry. She attended Ash Creek Baptist Church and the Ruth Class where she was a member for 65 years. She was a resident of Azle since 1953 and retired from Mitchell's Department Store in 1992. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Pruitt, her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, Judy Stanford, Jean Ratliff (Robert), and Morris Pruitt (Carolynn); sisters, Dolores McMillin (Oran), Sharon Blake, Beverly Sparks (Roland); Grandchildren, Nathan Pruitt (Lynsey), Tiffany Pruett (Wes), Lindsey Brown (Noal), Kyle Ratliff (Jennifer), Aaron Pruitt (Rebecca, Fiance); nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
