George Hamlin Holcomb, age 88, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 4, 2022. Service: 1:00 PM, April 18, 2022, Elk's Lodge, 3233 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107 George was born August 17, 1933 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Chester Holcomb and Rebecca Phelps Holcomb. He was a Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. When his grandchildren had a sporting event, he made sure he attended to watch. George was also a very active member of the Elks Lodge and American Legion. George joined the Airforce earlier in life and he retired as a Senior Master SGT from the United States Air Force. He was a life-long golfer and was a proud member of the Retired Air Force Golf Team. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Grace; six children, James Holcomb and his wife, Theresa, Gary Holcomb, Steven Holcomb, Bobby Holcomb, Sandy Holcomb Farmer, Sherry Holcomb Heflin and husband Glenn; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous family members who will all miss him dearly.
