Tim has been peacefully taken home to be with the Lord and Savior after a long hard battle of health issues and has reunited with many of his family and friends in the Promise Land.

Tim was born on July 5, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Cleytes and Peggy Ruth Taylor Watts and was a bouncing 10-pound baby boy. He was the youngest of the 3 siblings.

Tim graduated from Greeb B Technical High School and was a very hard and loyal worker. He started around 6 years old riding with his dad, he would work in the warehouse picking up meat paddles off of the floor where they used to make dog food. When he was 12, he had a paper route delivering the Fort Worth Press Newspaper to the Base housing in River Oaksat Carswell AFB 7 days a week, making $5 a week on his bicycle. Tim loved playing baseball, and his dad would coach him. At 15, he went to work at Dawsons Grocery Store pumping gas and worked mowing yards and cutting down trees during the summer and helping his dad. In high school, he got a job in a Metal Shop for a couple of years. After the Muffler Shop, he worked in Amarillo for Hollander Hides and drove and maintenance.

Tim married Carol Annette Oliver in 1971 when he was 19 years old and they had three boys, Shawn Timothy Watts born October 1972, Derrick Watts born December 1976 who passed away 4 days later and Chance Alexander Watts born April 1978. Tim was a proud Dad and loved his sons and family deeply.

Then after 17 years of being a bachelor, working a lot, traveling, and getting to fish when he could he reunited with an old friend in 1996 that he had gone to school with. Then in 2006 he married, Danna Juanell Kloberdanz. They married at her home in Midlothian, Texas and Tim gained a stepdaughter Kimberly Dawn Cooper and her husband, Todd Cooper. Tim loved seeing all his kids and his 3 grandchildren… Zylie Watts, Kara Cooper, Tate Cooper and his wife, Lauren. He loved the family get-togethers or just sitting and watching a movie or football with them and ordering junk food or going fishing with the boys.

Tim was blessed with many talents. Some of them being his smile, sense of humor, hard work ethic and adventurous spirit. He loved people and his home was always open to everyone. It was a place for all the family and friends to come and enjoy being together for dinners or a game of chicken foot which he loved… and loved to win! It was a place to share laughter and listen to his stories and yes, his jokes. He had a quick wit and talent for storytelling that captivated all who had the pleasure of listening.

He moved a lot, going where he could get good jobs. He worked as an EMT in Sansom Park and sat on the City Council for Sansom Park. Then he started working with his dad as an assistant back in the hide business until his Dad retired. Tim drove trucks for deliveries, worked the forklifts and trained new hires. Then Tim and a group of guys got together and started up TexPac Hide and Skins in Fort Worth, where he retired on July 1, 2017 due to his health. Tim has handled any and every part of the Hide business and was a world traveler – buying / selling / training etc. His travels took him to Germany, Italy, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Columbia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Brazil Argentina, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and China… plus hitting most of the United States. About the only place he had not been was Wyoming and the Grand Canyon.

Outside of his business pursuits, Tim found pleasure and joy in various hobbies. He enjoyed connecting with his friends and loved the outdoors, watching sun rises, sunsets, wildlife and the birds. His best time would be to get on the water in his boat before daylight and watch the sunrise come up as he was trying to reel in that Big Bass. Tim and some friends decided to start up the Bass Club of the West. He enjoyed leaving work and taking the weekend fishing at different lakes and being competitive in the tournaments with his buddies. He was a passionate fisherman and did some hunting in his younger years. He liked old cars and trucks, playing cards, dominoes, bridge, poker, chess and chicken foot with his family and friends. Tim liked working in the yard, feeding the birds outside or just sitting at his desk in the garage watching the Blue Jays in the front yard getting the peanuts he had just put out.

Tim was the best father to his boys… loving, teaching, coaching baseball and football, guiding them through life and preparing them for life's journeys.

As a son, brother, husband, uncle, Dad and friend to all he will never be forgotten for his beautiful smile and caring heart. Tim would help or give his last dime to anyone that needed it. Always a smile even through the hard times with his health, he always tried to make everyone else comfortable. As his health continued to get worse, he cherished the love and support of his family and friends to help him through… the calls, the visits and texts. He appreciated all.

Tim's passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends… His legacy as always, a loving father and husband, hard worker, funny and adventurous individual will forever be cherished and serve as an inspiration to all who knew him. He led a remarkable life filled with cherished memories and meaningful connections all over the world. He will be so deeply missed by us all.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Danna of Fort Worth; son, Shawn Timothy and his wife, Laura of Lake Worth; son, Chance Alexander of Fort Worth; stepdaughter, Kim Cooper and her husband, Todd of Euless; grandchildren, Zylie Watts, Kara Cooper, Tate Cooper and hid wife, Lauren; sister, Cleta Watts of Springtown; brother, Lester Watts of Benbrook; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Cleytes and Peggy Watts, and his son, Derrick Watts.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial will be held at a later date.
