Gerold O. Price, 64, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Fort Worth. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, November 16th in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation: Wednesday, November 15th at Biggers Funeral Home. Interment: Monday, November 20th in Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery. Gerold was born on February 27, 1953 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Floyd and Bettye (Dennis) Price. He moved with his family to the small town of Wickliffe, Kentucky when he was a small boy. Gerold graduated high school and soon after yearned for a richer life. It led him to the U.S. Marine Corps. He enlisted in 1977 and found his purpose. The corps taught him the necessary skills he used later in life to launch a successful career in Information Technology. Gerold called many places home. He lived in Virginia, Japan, Australia, New York, Delaware, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico. He finally came to settle in Fort Worth, Texas. Gerold was passionate about music. He was an accomplished singer, songwriter, guitar player and luthier. His dedication to physical fitness allowed him to earn two black belts and spurred his interest in bodybuilding and Tai Chi instruction. He was never an idle person. Gerold enjoyed working as a handyman, dabbling in photography, and was always riding his motorcycles around. Gerold is survived by his loving wife, Maria; daughters, Stephanie Price and husband, Jason Elliott, Christy Dvorak and husband, John; and four grandchildren, Dawson, Alexander, Christian, and Sarah.
