Glenda Lavern Davis Morrow Born: February 15, 1925 near Clarendon, Texas Parents: Robert Washington Davis Emma Cornelia Kyser Davis School: graduated Quail Consolidated ISD in 1942 attended Clarendon Jr. College and Amarillo College Vocation: secretary at General Adjustment Bureau, Amarillo, Texas Married: Robert (Bob) Edgar Morrow in 1960 Amarillo, Texas Bob died in 2007 47 years of happiness Glenda belonged to Metropolitan Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas previously belonged to First Baptist Church of Midland, Texas and First Baptist Church of Amarillo, Texas Glenda and her husband, Bob, belonged to Gideons International all their married life. Gideons International is an organization that distributes New Testament Bibles to school children, doctors, nurses, patients and a special presentation to nurses upon graduation. Glenda was with the Womens Auxillary while Bob was a member with the men. Glenda loved sharing Jesus with friends and strangers. Glenda also loved taking her little dog, Rags, to visit the nursing home which made residents happy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Emma her brother, Clyde W. Davis her husband, Bob Morrow She is survived by her son, Robert C Morrow and his wife, Betty, of Fort Worth her grandson, Royal Morrow of Fort Worth her grandson, Sterling Morrow and his wife, Brittani of Fort Worth her great grandsons, Braxton Ray and Lukas Todd of Fort Worth her only sister, Mary Neal Davis Risley of Clarendon, Texas her niece Janet Risley Bennett and her husband, Paul, of Dallas her niece Cynthia Davis Bush of Fort Worth her nephew Lin Davis and his wife, Julie, of Fort Worth her nephew Joe David and his wife, Teresa, of Fort Worth and various great nieces and nephews Hobbies: traveling, flowers and birds Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas. Only the immediate family will meet for a simple farewell prayer on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 12:00 PM.
