Gloria Elaine (Rasco)
Stokes
Jul 14, 1949 — May 5, 2025
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria Elaine (Rasco) Stokes, who left us on May 5, 2025 at the age of 75 in Springtown, Texas. Born on July 14, 1949, in Fort Worth, Elaine was a woman of incredible strength, integrity, and compassion. She lived her life putting others before herself and was a devoted wife, mother, gma, sister, and friend.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, Jaybird Cemetery.
Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2025, Biggers Funeral Home.
Elaine spent 30+ years in the banking industry, a career marked by dedication and precision. She was the rare kind of person who kept a check register and balanced her statement to the penny—every month.
Elaine is survived by her daughters, Kelli Stokes Akins (Mark) and Mikki Stokes; her sister, Jolinda Martinez (Butch); her brother, Mike Rasco (Shirley); her sister, Tracy Wendler (Mark); and sister-in-law, Trisha Fewell. She was affectionately known as "Gma" by Mindy, Josh, Murc, Pink, Peyton and great grandson Axl and lovingly called "Aunt Lainey" by 19 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, James Douglas Stokes; her mother, Peggy Fewell; her stepfather, Ellis Fewell; and her brother, Dennis Fewell.
Elaine's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
