Grace passed away peacefully into her Savior's arms at the age of 91.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Lakeview Fellowship Church – Chapel, 9940 Morris Dido, Newark Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76179.

Grace was born to W.K. Sr. and Grace Phillips of Springfield, Massachusetts. Marrying the love of her life, George Holcomb, on October 16, 1954, until his death after sixty-seven and a half years of marriage. George was in the Air Force, and they traveled for many years before settling in Lake Worth, Texas in 1968 with their six children. Grace was a dedicated homemaker for many years. At the heart of everything she did, was with love and devotion to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She poured herself into her family. She was active in school events, sporting events, and milestone celebrations, making her presence a constant and cherished part of their lives. After the younger children got into middle school, she returned to working outside the home, working for Union Equity Grain Elevators in Saginaw, Texas for several years. George and Grace enjoyed many years of retirement together.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, George Holcomb; her father, W.K. Phillips Sr. and her mother, Grace Phillips.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her brother, W.K. Phillips Jr. and his wife, Donna; Grace's children, James Holcomb and wife, Theresa, Gary, Steve, and Bobby Holcomb, Sandra Farmer, Sherry Heflin and husband, Glenn; bonus daughter, Belinda Capps and husband, Ken; grandchildren – Sarah Bobbit and husband, Kevin, Amanda Farmer, Cody Farmer and wife, Marisol, Christopher Holcomb, Shelby Elkins and husband, Andrew, Spencer Heflin and wife, Maegan, Shawny Kelsay and husband, Kevin, Shane Heflin and wife, Lili, Tara Rhodes and husband, Lucas, Kayla Stewart and Cory Gardner; great-grandchildren, Makinzee Holcomb, Brianna Farmer, Bridget Austin, Cody Jr., Abagail, Alyssa, Amelia, and Ezekiel Farmer, Kadyn and Kylee Bobbit, Addison Stewart, Emma, Casey, and Jesse Elkins, Hunter Heflin, Ty, Mekhi, and Greyson Kelsay; great-great-grandchildren, Emily and Mateo Farmer; Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.
