Gregory Duane Mathis, 36, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, at The Oasis Church, 420 W. Green St., Saginaw 76179. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Grady Weldon Sessions; and his Nanny, Floy Dale Mathis. "Gone from our homes, but not from our hearts." Gregory is survived by his daughter, Alexis Renee Mathis; son, Jared Wade Mathis; father, Terry and Gayla Mathis; mother, Suzanne and J.R. Abbott; bothers, Jeff Mathis and Justin Abbott; nephews, Dustin and Gavin Mathis; his "Bunna" Colleen Forester; and Papa, Jack Mathis.
