Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harlin A. Harris.

Service:  2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Visitation:  6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Biggers Funeral Home.

Harlin was born on November 16, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, musician, and friend.

He was a kind and gentle soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand or a big comforting hug. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served as a Sergeant. He was also a dedicated employee of Lockheed Martin for almost 30 years, working on the flightline.

Harlin was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and bled blue. He strongly believed in his right to bear arms. He was also a passionate musician, often playing his drums and guitar any chance he could.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Donna Harris; mother, Mary Harris; and brothers, Randy and Steve Harris.

Harlin is survived by his daughter Amy Schott and husband, Shaun, their two sons, Kobe and Kelton Schott; his son, Kenny Harris and wife, Felicia, their four children, Brett, Allyson, MacKenzie, and Jace Harris; great-grandson, Knox Harris and his brother, Benny Harris.

Harlin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His sly sense of humor and love for his family will be greatly missed.

We invite all who knew and loved Harlin to join us in celebrating his life.
