Fort Worth, Texas – Harry Franklin Johnson, born on October 2, 1932, in Pettus, West Virginia passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the age of 93.

Harry attended Trap Hill High School near Beckley, West Virginia where he was a football star and got his name in the newspaper for scoring the winning touchdown his senior year! He briefly worked in the coal mines before joining the United States Air Force in 1950 when he turned 18. He dedicated twenty-one years of his life to military service, proudly representing his country. During his distinguished career, he fought in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His commitment and bravery were recognized with more than ten honors awarded throughout his tenure.

He graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He spent his career after the military in aircraft sales for General Dynamics and retired after 14 years.

Harry was an avid golfer and mastered the art of closing deals on the golf course. He was very passionate about watching NFL and college football and cheering on his grandson and great-grandsons high school football.

Harry traveled the world and loved telling stories of his adventures to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Always trace the money" was among his many famous quotes and words of wisdom for his family.

Harry is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Myrtle and Lando Johnson; sons, Harry Ray Johnson and John Johnson; son-in-law, Paul Morin; and brothers, Virgil Leodo Johnson, Lando Johnson Jr., and Troy Johnson.

He is survived by his partner, Kelly Miller; two daughters Pamela Johnson and Veronica Morin; grandchildren, Andrea Morin, Brandy Morin, Tammy Morton, Michael Johnson, and Veronica Johnson; great-grandchildren, London Fox, Dylan Johnson, Logan Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Zander Johnson, Keller Johnson, Maverick Miller;

granddaughter-in-law, Natalie Johnson; and numerous extended family members and friends.
