Hazel Hughes Jones, 96, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Mount Church in Keller. Private committal will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Texas, 6100 Western Place, Suite 105, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Mrs. Jones, an area resident since 1949, retired from Alcon Laboratories. She was a member of The Mount Church in Keller. She loved and served her Lord for over 80 years, teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir, serving anyway she could. She was always helping her friends that needed rides to get where they needed to go. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Albert S. Jones, and grandson, Heath Conrad. She is survived by her children, Jack Jones and wife, Donna, Ben Jones and wife, Nelda, Patricia Zeman and husband, Joe; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
