Helen Claudine Edans, 81, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on December 23, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 28 at First Baptist Church of Lakeside, 8801 Jacksboro Hwy, Lakeside, TX 76135. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home, 6100 Azle Ave., Lake Worth, TX Claudine was born August 8, 1934 in Decatur to Floyd and Vergia Moore. She married Jack Edans July 20, 1950. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love for the Lord, her husband and two sons was unwavering. All three were foremost in her life and she instilled these qualities in her family and friends. You could always count on Mom to be there. Claudine was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, her parents, infant daughter Janice Elaine, brothers: Bennie Joe and Floyd Wayne Moore, and sister: Wanda Shirlene Clary. Survivors include step-mother Mary Ruth Moore of Rendon; sons, Pat Edans wife Phyllis of Granbury, and Randy Edans and wife Marilyn of Auburn, Georgia; sisters, Shelia Marie Benson and husband Jerry of Munday and Karen Winkler and husband Dow of Burleson; 8 grand children, Bobby, Robin, Shelley, Trey, Amberly, Brandon, Kristy and Nathan; 6 great-grandchildren, Kelsay, Kolton, Braden, Bryson, Amelia and Carson; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
