Born in Huckabay, Texas, on March 5, 1932, to Hosie Butler and Gladys (Shine) Moon Butler, Pearline was the cherished mother of Gregg and Mark, the beloved grandmother of Tanner, and pup mom to her Yorkie, Diva.

Pearline was known as a very hard worker and entrepreneur. She began her career in the meat market business at Swift & Company in the Fort Worth Stockyards serving as a meat packer. From there, she went to work for Safeway Food Stores as a meat wrapper and at same time worked at Mrs. Baird's Bakery packaging bread and donuts. She retired from those two corporations at the age of 65 and became an entrepreneur, starting her own cleaning business, which she continued until the age of 85.

Always dressed to the nines, Pearline loved her clothes, purses and jewelry. She took great care to look her best and show off her own personal style.

Kind, gracious and generous, Pearline was known to have a constant smile which was contagious to those around her. She loved to be with people of all ages, was young at heart, and always up for a family gathering, party or to go gambling.

For a woman who loved Eagle Mountain Lake and lived on the lake for over 50 years, she never learned how to swim!

Pearline was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Rusty Butler.

She is survived by her children, Mark Truitt, and Gregg Truitt and wife, Robin; grandson, Tanner; brothers, Dusty Butler and wife, Kerry, and Steve Butler; sisters, Judy Cassaday and husband, Gary, and Beverly Butler; and countless extended family whose lives she touched.

Pearline and her infectious smile and keen wit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered through the memories she left.
