Jack Allen Burks, Sr., 82, passed away Wednesday, December 21, at his home in Lake Worth. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 26, in Biggers Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 25, at the funeral home. Committal will be at 2:30 p.m. at Crawford Cemetery in Crawford, Texas. A lifelong Texan, Mr. Burks was a successful small business owner who loved family, hunting, and a roaring fire in his homes fireplace. Survivors include his three children, Jill Wallace, Jana Shelton, and Allen Burks; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
