Jack Brewer Henderson, loving husband, best dad in the world, and grandpa, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Biggers Funeral Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to services. Interment: Nelson Cemetery, Reno, Texas Jack was born on April 3, 1961 in Lake Worth to the late William Brewer and Etta Jewel Henderson. He was raised in Briar for most of his life. Jack joined the Army and served four years at Schofield Barracks Hawaii. He continued to serve in the Texas Army National Guard until he retired after 30 years of service. After retirement he worked for 10 years at Mainstream Habilitation. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Alta Henderson; and mother and father-in-law, Harold and Norma Bacher. Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Betty Jo Henderson; sons, Kevin (Kristi), James (Kerry), Sam (Corinne); daughter, Angel; grandkids, Trey and Trinity Goodreau of Texas, Madelyn and Gunnar Henderson of Vermont, and Kemsley Henderson of Alaska; siblings, Dale Henderson (Nancy) of Texas, Glenda Bays (Mike) of Texas, John Henderson of California; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
