Jackie Len Cotney, 81, a long time resident of Azle, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment with military honors: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at the funeral home. Jackie was born December 19, 1935, in Gustine, Texas to Thelma and Jesse Cotney. He served in the United States Marine Corps and retired as Superintendent for Walker Construction Company. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Rosemary Ann Cotney on July 16, 2015. Survivors: Jackie is survived by his children, Deborah Self and Jerry Cotney; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
