Marshall was born in Fort Worth to Vernon Hughes and Erma Hughes on March 12, 1952. Marshall was the second child with an older brother, William.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Scottish Right Hospital and/or the American Cancer Society.

Marshall was preceded in moving on to his next chapter of life by his wife, Marietta of 27 years, his father, Vernon, his mother, Erma and his brother, William.

Marshall's legacy lives on through his stepchildren, Cindia Paschall and husband, Ken, Clarence Earley and wife, April, Stephanie Kuntzendorf and husband, Dave, and Andrea Wilson and husband, Keith; his grandchildren, Alicia, Kayla, Jaimee, Steven; and great-grandson, Malakai.
