James Robert Catoe Leinen, 47, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Calvary Chapel. Committal with military honors will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to Calvary Chapel, 5617 Diamond Oaks Drive South, Fort Worth, Texas 76117. Jim was born in Dimmitt on December 22, 1965. He lived in Southern California from 1970 until moving to Fort Worth in 2004. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1985 until 1989. He served aboard the USS Nimitz and USS Kitty Hawk, where he performed with distinction as an airplane captain for deck operations. Jim was a member of the Descendants of Austins Old Three Hundred. Many people in this area got to know him when help them as customer solutions manager for Best Buy in Lake Worth and Hulen Street. Jim and his family are members of Calvary Chapel Church in Fort Worth where he taught in the childrens ministry. Jim will be remembered for his love of God, family, his big heart and sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Diane; son, Jimmy of Lake Worth; daughter, Madeleine Day and husband, Alec, of Visalia, California; mother, Margaret Ruecker and husband, Michael, of Azle; grandmothers, Della Chapman of Azle and Rae Catoe of Hamilton; sister, Brandi Koenke and husband, Michael; nephew, Ryan, and niece, Emily, of Claremont California; sister-in-law, Nancy Bertagna of LaVerne, California; uncles, Duke Chapman of Cantonment, Florida, and John Chapman of Ventura, California, Alex Catoe of Hamilton and Paul Catoe of Coleman; aunts, Marty Catoe of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Patty Martin of The Woodlands; and many cousins on both the Catoe and Chapman sides of the family.
