James Edward "Mac" McDaniel, 78, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, with his loving family at his side.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Mac was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, grew up in Seymour, and graduated from the University of North Texas. He accepted Christ into his life at age 15. He was a teacher, athletic trainer, assistant principal, and principal for 32 years serving throughout Texas at Dallas ISD, South Grand Prairie High, Keller High, Jacksonville High, Brownsboro High, Harmony High, Joshua High, Blum High, Boyd High, and retired from Second Chance High in Lake Worth. He was also a Texas Freemason for 57 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Deborah Lynn McDaniel; son, David and wife, Cathleen; along with grandchildren, AnnaKate, Luke, Molly and Bo; brother, Johnnie McDaniel of Austin; wifes parents, Leonard and Faye Witthoft; brother-in-law, Gerald Dudley; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Paul Aruda; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers and friends.
