Jimmy Smith left us at the age of 54 on January 9, 2023 at 1:19pm. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Jimmy was the son of the late James Clyde Smith Sr. and Lawanda Ann Smith. He attended Castleberry Elementary, Wayside Middle School and Boswell High School. He grew up in Fort Worth and stayed a native Fort Worthian. He lived near his childhood home most of his life. Jimmy was such a kind soul and loved taking care of the elderly. He was always the man to help mow your yard or help around your house. His friends and family could always depend on him during the cold to provide wood. He loved to cruise down Camp Bowie on the weekends and always controlled the radio. Jimmy enjoyed fishing and music. Just like his daddy, he loved all styles of music, and you could find any station playing in multiple rooms of his home. Jimmy also loved NASCAR and liked going to the Texas Motor Speedway when he could. He was a son, a brother, a father, and newly grandfather and a friend to many. He shall be missed dearly. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James Clyde Smith, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Lawanda Ann Smith; his sister, Kelle Tracy and husband, Paul Tracy; his son, Bradford H.S. Cordell and wife, Ryan Cordell; his daughter, Danielle Kristine Miller and husband, Zach Miller; and granddaughter, Claira Faith Miller.
