James E. Swiney, born November 13, 1949, passed away at home on November 8, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 12, at Aurora Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Ann Swiney, and his parents, Doc and Oleta Swiney. James is survived by his wife of 36 years, Michelle Swiney; daughter, Christina Teague and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Bobby and Gracie Teague; sisters, Diane Kottwitz and husband, Ken, Sue McCoy and husband, Jimmy and his brother, Edward Swiney.
