James Arthur Turpitt, Jr, 52 of Haslet, passed away January 1, 2019 in Haslet. Service: 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Biggers Funeral Home Chapel. Jim was born October 1, 1966 in Madera, California to James Arthur Turpitt, Sr and Vickie Cochran Turpitt. Jim served in the U.S. Airforce. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for over 30 years and was just awarded his 30-year wings. He was a very hard worker and a wonderful provider for his family. He loved the outdoors especially fishing with his family and friends. He was very adventurous and loved to travel. His life was centered around his family.
