Janis D'Ann (Jenkins) Patrick of Azle Texas, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026, following a 3 year long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 49.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2026, Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Janis' name to the Azle Independent School District, at https://www.azleisd.net/page/library-media-services, where donations will help fund the school's library, which she was a big supporter of.

Janis was born in Arlington, Texas August 2, 1976, to her parents John and Joy Jenkins. Known for her mixture of deeply caring for those around her, strength, stubbornness, quick wit, generosity, determination, persuasiveness, persistence, and her karate skills.

She enjoyed making people feel loved through cooking, making & giving gifts, and getting to know people.

She is survived by her husband, James Patrick; her two children, William and Anna; her parents, John and Joy Jenkins; her brother, Jim Jenkins; and her sister, Randa Goode; many family members across Texas and Alabama; many friends from the area and abroad; and her dog, Pinky; and lastly, the Patrick family which they were blessed with having her part of for the last 20 years, including Sue Patrick, Bryan Patrick, Shawn & MJ Patrick, and Brent and Terry Fugate.
