JC a resident of Fort Worth for 69 years passed away July 4, 2022. Graveside Service: 11:00 am, Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Lightening Ridge Cemetery, Roff, Oklahoma. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:00 pm, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Biggers Funeral Home. JC was born on August 16, 1933 to Joe Price and Ethel McGarr Price. He was named for his grandfather James Crockett Price. He was raised in the Lightening Ridge Community Church near Ada, Oklahoma and was saved in Ada, Oklahoma at about age 15 and baptized in a stock tank. His father, Joe was a farmer. The family moved to Hess Community in 1951 where he met his future wife. JC graduated from Southside High School in 1952 then moved to Fort Worth and began working for Keetch Sheet Metal Works. He was drafted into the Army in 1955. Upon being discharged from the Army, he returned to Fort Worth and started an apprentice program to be a journeyman sheet metal worker. Besides many projects in Fort Worth and Dallas, he was superintendent on many jobs out of town: Midland, Houston plus Slidel, LA and Anadarko, OK. JC married Freda Johnson in 1956 and together they had four children, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. His hobbies were traveling, flying and mechanics. He was a boss, father and husband that will be greatly missed. His family will reunite in heaven. JC was preceded in death by his son, Rodney JC Price; his parents; his sisters, Estlee and Jimmie Jo; and his brothers, Ernest, James and Larry Price. His is survived by his wife, Freda; his children, Arlene (Larry) Brackeen, Paulette (Ted) Wilson and Milton (Dyan) Price plus his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
